NEWPORT FOLK & BLUES NIGHT XIII feat. BIRD CHRISTIANI - JAZZ IM RATHAUSINNENHOF 2021

Am Sonntag den 22. August, wird im Rathausinnenhof erneut die Newport Folk & Blues Session zelebriert. Die beiden Knusprigen Wimpern Katharina Müller und Mike Krompaß präsentieren nun mittlerweile die 13te Iteration ihrer Veranstaltungsidee. Sie laden jeden Monat neue, sowie bereits etablierte Talente ein, um gemeinsam die Folk & Blues Musik der 60er und 70er Jahre zu feiern. Zum August-Termin spielen die Knusprigen Wimpern in ihrer Ursprungsbesetzung Eigenkompositionen und alte Favoriten. Als Gast haben sie Bird Christiani von der Band Kenneth Minor aus Wiesbaden eingeladen. Rolling Stone schreibt über sie: “"...Melodies that could have also been invented by Mark Everett, Ray Davies or They Might Be Giants".

On Sunday the 22th August the Newport Folk & Blues Session will be held again in the Rathausinnenhof Passau. Katharina Müller and Mike Krompaß of Knusprigen Wimpern are presenting the 13th installment of their concert-idea. Every month they invite new and established talent in order to celebrate together the folk and blues music of the 60s and 70s. For this session, Knusprige Wimpern are going to play in their original constalation comprised of Hannah Paularsen (guit,voc), Bernhard Senkmüller (dr), Vallentin Weber (bass) together with Kathi and Mike. For this session they invite the singer-songwriter Bird Christiani (from Band Kenneth Minor), of which Rolling Stones Magazin has this to say "...Melodies that could have also been invented by Mark Everett, Ray Davies or They Might Be Giants". Together with Knusprige Wimpern they´ll play some original compositions and some old favorites of everyone involved.
